MonitorApp®: Simple, useful, non-invasive industrial digitalization — ready to scale

Gabriela Irastorza

Directora de Comunicaciones

Digitalizing your plant, resort, or building shouldn’t take months or require external consultants. At MonitorApp®, we believe the process should be simple from day one: with technology that’s easy to understand, useful, and ready to deliver results. That’s why we built a platform that reveals what used to be invisible: the real data behind your operations.

MonitorApp® was created by Mexican entrepreneurs with a clear mission: to simplify industrial digitalization. Today, the platform integrates what matters most —productivity, energy, and resources— into a single system that provides total, real-time visibility, without friction.
In 2024, MonitorApp® received investment from MaData Inc., a firm specializing in industrial tech solutions. Its partners include Flō Networks and GCC, two of the most relevant business groups in Latin America. This backing strengthens our ability to scale solidly and adapt to critical operations in any industry.

A modular architecture, built to adapt

Monitor | Productivity

Gives full visibility and optimization of core factory operations. It monitors, in real time, the performance of lines, stations, and operators — tracking more than 30 world-class manufacturing KPIs, including OEE, cycle times, defects, downtime, quality, and order fulfillment.
Our technology is designed to integrate without friction: it can connect to nearly 99% of existing industrial machines, regardless of age or brand. From CNCs, presses, and ovens to injection molders, thermoformers, and packaging machines, it adapts to equipment with smart sensors, PLC outputs, or existing communication protocols. It’s compatible with over 300 sensor types from multiple providers, enabling installation in both new and existing environments, regardless of brand, year, or protocol.
The design is user-centered. Workstations can be set up with general dashboards or personalized views, and events can be logged automatically or manually without slowing down operations. Manual formats are eliminated with digital checklists, alerts, and real-time reports.
It also includes a traceability module that helps identify bottlenecks, anticipate failures, and make better decisions right from the production floor.

Monitor | BMS (Building Management System)

Centralizes energy, environmental, and infrastructure management in industrial plants, hotels, resorts, and commercial complexes. From one unified and customizable panel, it monitors electricity, gas, water, and compressed air by zone and in real time.
It automates control of lighting, HVAC, sump pumps, compressors, drives, and auxiliary equipment. It detects leaks, triggers alarms in case of failures, anticipates maintenance, reduces energy use, and breaks down consumption by zones and equipment without disrupting operations.
In hotels and resorts, it allows scheduled activations by area —rooms, halls, common spaces— as well as automatic modes such as “event,” “maintenance,” or “low consumption,” all from any device, without manual intervention.
All operations are logged: consumption, alerts, and system performance, simplifying compliance with standards such as ISO 50001 or 14001.
MonitorApp® adapts to any infrastructure. It can integrate with wireless sensors, proprietary gateways, or connect directly to over 300 sensor types, both new and old. In high-density operations —plants with multiple production lines, buildings with distributed systems, or resorts with independent zones— it is also compatible with private 5G networks.
By connecting through this type of network, MonitorApp® ensures low latency, continuous data flow, higher device capacity per zone, and faster responses to critical events. This makes it possible, for example, to automate distributed control of HVAC, drives, or lighting in real time, without relying on cabling or overloaded networks.
This level of connectivity is reinforced by our alliance with Flō Networks, one of the leading telecom infrastructure providers in the Americas. Thanks to this partnership, MonitorApp® operates with technical robustness even in complex or remote environments.

Real-world results

The best technologies aren’t tested in labs — they’re proven on the production floor.
These two stories show it.

Case 1

Walor Irapuato: 13% productivity improvement

Walor, a French automotive supplier with a plant in Guanajuato, implemented MonitorApp® to gain real visibility over its daily operations. From the very start, operators knew the system was tracking their performance, which generated an initial 5% improvement. As the team became more engaged with the tool, overall productivity increased by 13%.
Today, all Walor machines run with MonitorApp® as their central system. The platform generates daily, weekly, or monthly reports, makes it easier to detect failures, and enables decision-making based on data, not assumptions.

Case 2

Gestamp Europe: environmental and operational digitalization

When Gestamp, a global manufacturer of automotive components, sought a solution to monitor its plant in Spain, it chose MonitorApp® through an authorized distributor. The goal was twofold: automate control of critical operational variables and improve environmental conditions for its operators.
The platform enabled early detection of their most frequent failure, along with continuous monitoring of temperature, humidity, noise, and rotation. The result was a system not only more efficient, but also more human.
This project marked MonitorApp®’s entry into the European market and consolidated its potential to scale beyond Mexico.

What’s next: intelligence, integration, and expansion

Operational intelligence powered by AI

Soon, we will be integrating our platform with AI models to turn your data into operational intelligence. This will help us detect patterns, find key relationships, and generate recommendations for better decisions in maintenance, efficiency, traceability, and continuous improvement.

Integration with existing systems

We will continue to expand integrations with ERPs, external dashboards, and BI platforms. The goal is for MonitorApp® data to flow seamlessly into the systems companies already use — without friction, duplication, or custom developments.

Sustained international growth

With active implementations in Mexico and Europe, we are consolidating partnerships with strategic distributors to scale across Latin America, the United States, and the European Union. Always with the same focus: delivering value from day one, without unnecessary complexity.

Does your operation already speak the language of data?

Digitalizing a plant is not about size, sector, or budget. It’s a decision. And with MonitorApp®, that decision becomes possible from day one.
“Today it’s no longer about whether you will digitalize or not — your competitors already are. Those who don’t will fall behind.”

— Francisco Hidalgo, CEO of MonitorApp®
